We are walking again for Lachie.
This is a special community fundraising event honouring the life and spirit of Lachlan McLaren, tragically taken from this world far too young.
The Lachlan McLaren Foundation want to once again bring family, friends, and the wider community together to remember Lachie and continue his legacy of kindness and community that he inspired.
The 5km walk along our beautiful Mentone foreshore will begin and end at Mentone Grammar School.

📍 Location: Mentone Grammar School, enter through Venice Street entrance
🕘 Walk starts at 9:00am but the gates will be open from 8am for

Your registration will help The Lachlan McLaren Foundation support Team Sport 4 All and Fusion Mornington Peninsula—two amazing organisations dedicated to creating opportunities, building connection, and providing vital support for young people in our community. We think Lachie would be so proud of this!

Show your support for the Lachlan McLaren Foundation by walking with us 5km along the Mentone foreshore.
This year’s walk takes place during the week Lachie should be celebrating his 21st birthday – a powerful moment to come together, reflect, and honour a brave young man who should still be here.
Wear red and walk with us as we celebrate his spirit and make a difference in the lives of others. Proceeds will go to charities Team Sports 4 All and Fusion Mornington Peninsula so they can continue helping to create brighter opportunities for young people in our community in Lachie’s memory
T-shirts, caps and red gerberas will be for sale on the day or you can order below
For the past three years Lachie’s family and friends have walked in his memory and will continue to do this each year to keep his memory alive and raise funds to help families suffering similar trauma to ours.
