The Lachlan McLaren Foundation was created in 2023 as a legacy to our son Lachlan who was killed in 2021 by a drugged driver in Parkdale. The Foundation aims to raise money to support the Amber Community Road Trauma Services and other charitable causes in our local community such as under privileged and struggling families.
Our annual community event is Lachies Walk. The walk is a 6km loop along the Mentone foreshore walking track, with a BBQ and raffle available after the walk.
Registration $30 per person or $100 for a family 4+.

For the past three years Lachie’s family and friends have walked in his memory and will continue to do this each year to keep his memory alive and raise funds to help families suffering similar trauma to ours.
