Family's digital licence call to save lives after son killed in drug driving crash

The family of a teenager killed by an unlicensed drug driver says Victoria's new digital licences must share data nationally.

Two years ago to the day, Lachie McLaren was struck by a ute, the driver speeding and high on ice when he crossed lanes of traffic at Mentone.

Christopher Hennessey had managed to hire the vehicle despite being unlicensed, handing over his plastic card from Queensland.
